RIE Associate, Talisa Hayes, has been an Early Childhood Education professional since 2010, when she first encountered RIE at UCLA’s Infant Development Program. She studied Sociology and Applied Developmental Psychology at UCLA and earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Loyola Marymount University. Talisa spent ten years at the LMU Children’s Center, serving as an Infant/Toddler Teacher and later as Site Supervisor and Infant/Toddler Curriculum Coordinator. Having grown up across the world—from Alaska to China to coastal California—Talisa now lives in Los Angeles and aims to bring the RIE Approach to her birthplace and ancestral homeland in Southeast Alaska.
